Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She is most famous for her part as Skyler White on The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting while attending Preparatory School. In the late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint performing in Chicago theater before transitioning to film and TV roles. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. The early 90s were when she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the relationship he has with Skyler are mirrored in the television show.
