Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name could be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews from bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry's endorsement of the song Runaway via a blog post added to the musician's recognition. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding an attic piano and being awed by the sounds it would make. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to do music just for fun or as a means of growing, but that she must take it seriously. To achieve this, she began writing original compositions. As well as Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. After her mother said that the songs she wrote were not meant to be famous for her, rather to help people to realize their own value and impact in this world, she began singing them in public. She began playing the piano at age six and making music when she was 9 years old. The family members didn't know about her music until she reached 14. Aurora never dreamed of becoming a star. She claims that she enjoys composing songs. For her, the songs she creates are how she feels about any thing.
